Senior Advisor

Michael Morris has spent over 20 years helping clients navigate the intersection of business, media, government, law, politics, and public policy. He was appointed by President Biden as the inaugural Assistant National Cyber Director for Public Affairs at the White House Office of the National Cyber Director (ONCD), where he led national and international strategic communications and served as on-the-record spokesperson on cybersecurity and emerging technology policy. Prior to ONCD, he was appointed Senior Advisor to the General Counsel of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.

Michael’s government service complements a professional portfolio that spans communications, government relations, law, campaigns, and policy between Boston and Washington, D.C. Outside of government, Morris has practiced as an attorney and was a registered state lobbyist, serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at a Boston-based strategic communications firm, and as Partner at a Washington, D.C.-based public relations and digital advertising firm.
