The firm Squared Communications announced Monday that Senior Vice President Sarah Elliott will head the firm's new West Coast operations from San Francisco. The firm also announced that Erin Grandstaff has been promoted to senior vice president and will run SQComms' Washington, D.C.-based operations. Elliott joined SQComms in 2013 and ran the firm's Seattle office.
Now, she'll run West Coast operations from the Bay Area. "Since joining our firm Sarah has grown our West Coast business first in Seattle and now I'm pleased she will head up and expand our efforts in San Francisco and across Silicon Valley," said SQComms President and CEO Michael Meehan.
"From tech policy to tax policy Sarah has successfully helped the firm's clients in this very competitive space." Elliott has also done stints with Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer for eight years and Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper. She replaces Kerry Symonds, who joined the staff of Stanford University earlier this year.
